Berkshire Pulse is offering a weeklong dance intensive with morning classes focusing on technique and skills followed by an afternoon of process. Isadora Wolfe and Joe Poulson will be lead the company through tasks involving dynamic phrases, improvisation and mini-modules using contemporary, contact and physical theater practices. ISRAELI CHAMBER PROJECTNew York, 7:30 p.m.
This chamber music collective makes worldwide tours and features some of Israel's finest musicians. Their program — featuring pianist Assaff Weisman, violinist Itamar Zorman, and clarinetist Tibi Cziger — is an exploration of the intersection of folk and concert music traditions from around the globe. The concert will include Khachaturian's "Trio"; Bartók's "Contrasts" and selections from"Hungarian Peasant Songs"; Dvorák's G-major Sonatina, Op. 100; Gershwin's "Three Preludes"; and Ben-Haim's "Three Songs without Words."

WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S - BERKSHIRE COUNTYAdams, 9:00 AM
Please join us for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's - Berkshire County on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Adams Visitor Center & Trail!
Walkers are welcome beginning at 9:00 AM, with a brief ceremony at 9:45 AM, and the walk beginning thereafter around 10:00 AM. The walk begins at the Adams Visitor Center, leads participants about 1.2 miles down the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, where you will turn around and walk back to the Adams Visitor Center (about 2.4 miles total). Anyone is welcome to walk a shorter loop, or not even walk at all, and just join us for the day! People of all ages, including children, and leashed pets welcome! Visit with our sponsors, grab some refreshments and spend time with our local community as we fight to #ENDALZ! You can even take a fall foliage tour on the Berkshire Scenic Railway train afterwards!
Free to register as a team or individual walker, but we do ask that anyone attending register via our walk website of: https://act.alz.org/berkshire.
