Betty Sacco doesn't get all dolled up much anymore.
The senior citizen lives now at Mount Greylock Extended Care and doesn't get her hair and makeup done very often. But on Wednesday, she was looking good. Sacco is one of two dozen residents who got all dressed up to take "glamour shots."
In the Berkshires, Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center in Lenox, Mt. Greylock Extended Care in Pittsfield and Williamstown Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation were among 75 in Massachusetts designated by the national magazine as “Top Performers” in their selection of the best nursing homes in the country.
You see, Jenna and Angie are dolls, the extremely realistic hand-crafted creations of Kathi George and Julie Crosier. George and Crosier are sisters who create lifelike dolls for their company, Until Forever Nursery. The two donated the dolls to Williamstown Commons.
