Berkshire Idol

Auditions will be held on three days at the following locations in North, South, and Central Berkshire County locations:

Thursday Aptil 5th from 4 to 8 pm
at Minerva Arts Center
1288 Massachusetts Ave, North Adams, MA

Auditions will begin at at the times given for each day and will end when all pre-registered individuals are through with their audition or by the time indicated, whichever comes first. If you are not preregistered you should show up as early as possible in order to guarantee an audition. If you advance from the auditions,

The Semifinals take place on:
Saturday, May 5th at (times tba)
at Barrington Stage Company
30 Union Street, Pittsfield, MA

The Finale will take place on:
Saturday, May 12th at 7:00 pm
at Barrington Stage Company
30 Union Street, Pittsfield, MA

Three finalists and three runner ups were crowned on May 14th at the Barrington Stage in Berkshire Idol's 5th Annual Finale. Twenty-five contestants performed in front of a packed audience.

Berkshire Idol proceeds go to the Family Life Support Center, Inc., which operates the Louison House Homeless Shelter in Adams. The mission of FLSC is to reduce homelessness and its causes in Northern Berkshire County.

2010 video from both the Semifinals and the Finals available for order. The cost of each 2-disk set is $15. If you want both sets (4 disks total), the price is $20. The audio quality of the semifinals disk is not the best, unfortunately. However, I think that everyone will be quite pleased with the Finals audio and video quality.
