This picture looks across the railroad tracks and the Pittsfield Common at old Central High School. It was built in 1898 and on the National Registrar of Historic Places. After Pittsfield High was built,it was used for a Junior High. Later in 1961, it was the first home of Berkshire Community College. It is now used for housing. (kh)
