Pittsfield Woman Injured When Car Rolled Over Her Leg

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - A city woman was taken to the hospital after her vehicle rolled into her.
Police say Maria Leon, 58, exited her vehicle at 48 Elizabeth Street Wednesday afternoon but she didn't put it in park. The vehicle then rolled back, knocking her over, and ran over her leg.
Leon was transported to Berkshire Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the incident is still under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed it is asked to contact Officer David Hallas at 448-9700 ext. 379.
