Gabriel Cardona, 22, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on three counts of assault and battery on a disabled person and single counts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and intimidation of a witness.

He was released on personal recognizance. Cardona allegedly assault two men, ages 19 and 22, in Pittsfield on June 29.

Barkin Smith, 38, of Pittsfield pleaded guilty to three counts of distribution of cocaine and single counts of drug violation in a school zone and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

He was sentenced to two and a half years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the school zone and conspiracy to violate drug laws charge and given concurrent one day sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the distribution charges.

Smith sold cocaine in Pittsfield between February 5, 2008 and February 14, 2008.

Deon Allen, 21, of Waterbury, Conn. had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on single counts of armed robbery, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and intimation of a witness or other person.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $2,500 bail. The charges stem from an incident in Great Barrington involving a 25-year-old man on Sept. 15.

Lawrence Miller, 37, of Hampton, Va. pleaded guilty to single counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws and furnishing a false name to a police officer.

He was sentenced to three to four years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. The other charge was placed on file.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 169 Pecks Road in Pittsfield on December 14, 2011.
