SUTTON, Mass. -- The Williamstown 10-and-under Cal Ripken baseball all-stars fell to 1-1 in pool play at the state tournament with a 7-6 loss to Hudson on Saturday afternoon.

Williamstown rallied from a 6-4 deficit to tie it in the top of the sixth thanks to a one-out RBI single by Alex Axt and a bases loaded walk drawn by Miles Cece. Hudson pitcher Brady Stewart fielded a line drive back to the mound and got a strikeout to end the threat.
