Cases heard before Judge John Agostini on Friday, September 14.

Jeremy Gomes, 26, of Pittsfield was found guilty by jury after three and a half hours of deliberation on single counts of mayhem, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony.

He was ordered to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction pending sentencing on Monday, Sept. 17 at 9 a.m. The incident occurred in Pittsfield on September 10, 2011 and involved a 19-year-old man.

On Monday, September 17 he was sentenced to eight to 12 years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on the mayhem charge. He was given concurrent seven to 10 years on the assault and batter charge and concurrent three to five years on the breaking and entering a motor vehicle charge.

Francis Willor Sr., 60, of North Adams pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws in connection to a search warrant at his home on November 6, 2009. He was placed on two years probation.

Amy Ladouceur, 28, of Pittsfield had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on single counts of distribution of oxycodone and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

She was released on personal recognizance. Ladouceur allegedly sold oxycodone and conspired with others to sell the drug in Pittsfield on Jan. 3.

Timothy Smithies, 50, of Pittsfield pleaded guilty to single counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and a single count of possession of pepper spray without a firearm identification in connection with an incident in Dalton on June 17, 2011. He also pleaded guilty to single counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended drivers license in connection with a motor vehicle stop in Lee on March 12, 2012.

Smithies was sentenced to one to three years at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Cedar Junction on one of the receiving stolen property charges. He was given a concurrent one year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Corrections on the possession of pepper spray charge and placed on two years probation on the other count of receiving stolen property. The operating a motor vehicle with a suspended drivers license charged was placed on file.
