Berkshire Entrepreneurs Network (BEN)Berkshire Entrepreneurs Network January Meeting On Time Management
The Berkshire Entrepreneurs Network’s first monthly meeting of the new year will be an interactive seminar about time management, “For the New Year: Take Time to Make Time,” presented by Andrea Feldman, Professional Organizer and Time Management Consultant. The meeting will be held on Monday, January 26 at the Gateways Inn, 51 Walker Street, Lenox, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. All attendees will be eligible for a drawing of a $25 gift certificate for dinner at the Gateways Inn. There is no charge for first time guests.
“Time management is about organizing, and getting organized is a process. A task on your ‘to do’ list that isn’t scheduled is a job not likely to happen. Taking the time to organize and plan is essential to creating more time,” says Andrea.
Andrea Feldman brings more than 25 years of management experience to her organizing and time management services and seminars. She holds a specialist certificate in working with the chronically disorganized from the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization and is a member of the National Association for Professional Organizers.
BEN meetings are open to members and anyone who is interested in attending. The sessions offer attendees an opportunity to network and pass out their business cards and brochures.
Those planning to attend should RSVP by going to www.BerkshireEntrepreneursNetwork.org or by emailing Keith Emerling, Keith Emerling Photography, Pittsfield, the BEN steering committee member who is coordinating the meeting, at kse@keithemerling.com. Members are asked to contribute $3 if they RSVP and $5 without an RSVP. First-time guests are free; others pay $8.
In the event of questionable weather, phone Gateways at 413-637-2532. Gateways is offering attendees a specially priced $16 buffet dinner after the meeting. Please indicate on your RSVP if you are staying for dinner. BEN is tri-state, micro-business membership organization dedicated to promoting and fostering a vibrant small business environment in the Berkshires.
Monthly evening meetings held September through May are open to the public. Events begin with informal networking, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Programs are typically interactive educational sessions. An elegant prix fixe buffet dinner afterwards is optional. There is an annual membership fee for members plus a small meeting charge at the door. While RSVPs are suggested, walk-ins are welcomed.
