Berkshire Superior Court Sept. 5

Pittsfield- A 30-year-old Pittsfield man was ordered held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $30,000 cash bail during a Berkshire Superior Court arraignment on four sexual assault charges.

Michael A. Eurquhart, whose last known address was 85 Oakhurst Ave., pleaded not guilty to four counts of rape and abuse of a child no force. Judge John Agostini set the bail and also ordered Eurquhart have no contact with the alleged victim.

The charges are the result of a police investigation into alleged sexual assaults on a 14-year-old Pittsfield girl. The incidents allegedly occurred on June 1 2005 and July 5 2006.

Steven J. Fish, 22, whose last known address is 70 South St., pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape during an arraignment before Agostini.

Agostini released Fish on personal recognizance with a condition that Fish have no contact with the alleged victim.

Fish was charged after a police investigation into allegations that he sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman in Hinsdale between Jan. 1 and Jan. 31 2005 and in Pittsfield between Feb. 1 and Feb. 15 2005.

Lynette M. Edwards, 51, of McLaughlin Place was arraigned on two counts of distribution of cocaine and two counts of a drug violation within a drug free school zone.

Edwards pleaded not guilty to the charges. She was released on $500 cash bail set by Agostini. Charges are the result of an investigation into alleged cocaine sales in Pittsfield on July 5 and July 20.

Susanne M.Brelsford, 21, of 1942 East St. was arraigned on one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute and one count of being present where heroin is kept.

Brelsford pleaded not guilty to the charges. She was released on personal recognizance. Brelsford was charged after police used a search warrant and searched 66 Howard St. on July 14.

Crystal Lehmann, 22, of 70 South John St., was arraigned on one count of perjury.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on personal recognizance. It is alleged that Lehmann committed perjury while testifying before a Grand Jury on Aug. 17 2005.

Omar McCalla, also known as "Shaun," 22, of 288 Bradford St. was arraigned on three counts of distribution of cocaine.

McCalla was released after Agostini set bail at $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety. McCalla pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was charged after police alleged that he sold cocaine in Pittsfield on June 27, July 7, and July 12.
