Clark After Dark Feb. 23

12:00AM / Monday, February 19, 2007

Williamstown - Join the fun as the Clark is transformed by the glitter and glam of Hollywood. Whether you indulge your movie fantasy by masquerading as your favorite celebrity, or strut your style in haut couture, this night of celebrity and movie magic is not to be missed.

You’ll be "charmed, I’m sure" with make-your-own wine/champagne charms, and if you ain’t got that bling you can create your own trinkets.

Jae’s at the Clark becomes Spago East with hors d’oeuvres based on this year’s Best Picture nominees. Tantalizing selections include chicken in a bucket (Little Miss Sunshine), biscuits and tea sandwiches (The Queen), Italian delights (The Departed), and others.

Signature drinks include cocktails made with champagne and an "Oscar" concoction that is sure to have you saying "You love me, you really love me!"

And what would a night in Hollywood be without awards? Gold statuettes (and swag bags filled with goodies) will be awarded in the categories of: Best Karaoke Performance of an Academy Award-winning song (both Male and Female), as well as Best Celebrity Look Alike, and God and Goddess of Glam for the best award-night togs. Movie buffs can cast their ballots for this year’s Academy Award winners and enter to win a year’s membership to Images Cinema.

DJ Peter Hallisey, of Sound Choice in Boston, provides the evening’s hot sounds as "celebrities" cut loose on the dance floor.

Are you ready for your close up?

Sponsored by Jae's Inn and Restaurant in Williamstown and Jae's Inn and Spa in North Adams.
