NORTHERN BERKSHIRE COMMUNITY COALITION MONTHLY FORUM

The Green, 87 Main Street, North Adams This month, the teenagers of the UNITY Youth Leadership Program (YLP) are offered the reins of the monthly forum to present a topic they find pertinent to their lives in the Northern Berkshires. The group will focus on young people’s mental health in a variety of aspects: How to recognize the signs of somebody who may be suffering from some mental health issues in school, how classrooms can be more supportive to youth experiencing mental health issues, how teachers can support individuals in need of extra support around mental health, and how young people can help support themselves through various mental health experiences.Call Tim at (413) 663-7588 for more information.

OWL NEEDLE FELTING WORKSHOP (2 NIGHT)
Great Barrington, 6 - 9 p.m.
What: Dry wool needle felting workshop-you will learn how to make a large owl (choose one of the three styles shown) and take your creation home with you! 'FRANTZ'

The 2018 Williams College French Film Festival will take place at Images Cinema, 50 Spring St. All films are in French with English subtitles. The screenings are free. Francois Ozon’s "Frantz" follows the story of a young German woman whose fiancé was killed in World War I and the remorse of the French soldier who killed him.

INTRODUCTION TO THE 1-2-3 MAGIC DISCIPLINE STRATEGY

The Family Place @ nbCC, 61 Main Street, Suite 208, North Adams 1-2-3 Magic is an easy to learn, effective and positive way to discipline. The Northern Berkshire Community Coalition is offering a free introductory workshop to the 1-2-3 Magic strategy for calm, effective and happy parenting of children ages 2-12.
