Pittsfield, 1 and 6 p.m.
The Pittsfield Figure Skating Club will present its annual Fantasy on Ice show, "Heroes and Villains." The year's show will feature two pairs of nationally ranked guest ice dancers. The guest skaters for the 1 p.m. show are Katarina DelCamp and Maxwell Gart. They are the 2017 US National Novice Ice Dance Silver Medalists. Anna Pettersson and TJ Carey will perform at the 6 p.m. show. The pair are two time national competitors in ice dance. They placed ninth at the novice level at the 2018 US Figure Skating Championships. Shows are at the rink at the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires at 16 Melville St. Information online.
KESTREL & WOOD DUCK NEST BOX BUILDING WORKSHOP
Lenox, 1-2:30 p.m.
Nest boxes on your property are a great way to support wildlife populations in your neighborhood. Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary will host a hands-on workshop to build either a wood duck or kestrel nest box (no experience necessary). 'CÚZANNE: PORTRAIT OF A LIFE'

The Clark Art Institute airs "Cézanne: Portrait of a Life," a film by Exhibition on Screen, in the auditorium. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased online or by calling the box office at 413-458-0524. Run time is 1 hour, 25 minutes. Directed by Phil Grabsky, the film features interviews with curators and experts from the National Portrait Gallery, London; Museum of Modern Art, New York; National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC; and Musée d’Orsay, Paris—as well as correspondence from the artist himself.
CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE DINNER FUNDRAISER

Join us on St. Patrick's Day Dinner at the Dalton American Legion. The menu is Corned Beef and Cabbage with potatoes , carrots, rolls, and dessert. Tickets are $15 with a deadline of March 10th. ( so we can purchase the food) You can get tickets in the Sullivan's Pub at the Legion or Message the Dalton American Legion for other options. The is a fundraiser for the Dalton American Legion and their Veteran causes.
THE ARIEL STRING QUARTET
Great Barrington, 6 p.m.
Three “storied” string quartets share the theme of a love triangle. Czech polkas, Hungarian folk dances, movements by turn lyrical and propulsive, with works by Schumann, Brahms and Janáček—penetrating and amorous music adorn this program by the redoubtable Ariel Quartet, refashioned and re-titled “Love Triangles”. A reception of light refreshments with the musicians will follow the concert.

THE ARIEL STRING QUARTET

The Ariel String Quarte - Gershon Gerchikov, violin; Alexandra Kazovsky, violin; Jan Grüning, viola; Amit Even-Tov, cello; with Yehuda Hanani, cello - will perform at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $50/$27/$15 for students and are available online.
SOBER DANCE PARTY
Pittsfield, 6-10 p.m.
On St. Patrick’s Day, the South Congregational Church, 110 South Street, will host a Sober Dance Party in Barrett Hall as a fundraiser for its Community Food Pantry. Entrance is from the parking lot behind the church. License to Groove will perform hits of the 70s Disco and 80s New Wave era. At 6 pm, a corned beef and cabbage dinner will be available for $15, which includes admission to the dance. For the dance only, a $10 donation is suggested.

Music by Cedar Stanistreet (fiddle), Guillaume Sparrow-Pepin (accordion and piano), and Arthur Davis (piano, trumpet, banjo, vocals), with caller Jim Fownes. Come join us contra dancing on Saturday nights in Lenox, Massachusetts in the Lenox Community Center, at 65 Walker Street. Experience the pleasure of dancing on a beautiful wood floor, in a high-ceiling second floor (handicap accessible) ballroom with a raised stage. Admission is $12 and $6 for students. New Dancers - 2nd dance free! Dances begin with a 15 minute beginner introduction at 7:45 followed by dancing from 8:00 to 11:00. Refreshments are offered during the social break from dancing. All the dances are taught. Come alone or with others.
