Milton L. Sartori, 85

CHESHIRE, Mass. — Milton Lewis Sartori, 85, of Fred Mason Road, died peacefully Sunday, April 13, 2014, at his home.

Born in North Adams on May 8, 1928, son of Angelo and Florence Yager Sartori, he attended schools in Monroe Bridge and graduated from Drury High School.

Mr. Sartori was employed by the former General Electric Co. in Pittsfield for many years and also worked at Pierce Machine Co. in Dalton.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and took annual trips to Canada.

His wife, the former Lorraine T. Momaney, whom he married on Nov. 11, 1951, died on Feb. 27, 2007.

He leaves his sister, Elizabeth Luczynski and her husband, William, of Kennewick, Wash.; nieces and nephews Gene Luczynski and his wife, Beth, and Guy Luczynski, all of Kennewick, and Bruce and Carol Clerc of Adams, who were his primary caregivers; grandnieces and grandnephews; his good friends, Mike Kelly and his family of Lanesborough and his beloved cats, Eric and Lucy Lou.

His son, Mark Sartori, died on Feb. 18, 1974.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Sartori will be Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be in Cheshire Cemetery.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
