Mary A. Culpo, 94
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mary A. Culpo, 94, of Jacksonville, Fla., a former longtime resident of North Adams, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at Cypress Village Nursing Home in Jacksonville.Born in North Adams on June 10, 1920, daughter of Albert and Olympia Caprari Domenichini, she attended Drury High School.
Mrs. Culpo was employed at the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years until her retirement.
She was an active communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church.
Her husband, Angelo Culpo, whom she married on June 12, 1971, died on Sept. 12, 1984.
The last of her immediate family, she leaves her four nieces, Debra Brown, Kimberly Sexton, Carla Brown and Patricia Brown, and four grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her three sisters Linda Brown, Doris Luchini and Clara Marceau are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Culpo will be Monday, Oct. 27, at 10:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 5 at the funeral home.
