William Clark, 66

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — William Clark, 66, of Solvay, N.Y., and formerly of North Adams, died Oct. 25, 2014, in New York.

Born in North Adams on June 1, 1948, a son of William and Cara French Clark, he graduated from McCann Techical School.

An Army veteran, he served in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Clark was employed at the former Sprague Electric Co. and later as a driver at the former Vet's Taxi Service.

He and his wife, the former Virginia Lasher, were married Nov. 15, 2009.

Besides his wife, he leaves his son, William Clark of California; a sister, Betty Clark of North Adams, and four stepchildren.

His brothers George and Edward Clark are deceased.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Clark will take place Friday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
