Theresa Rose Morin, 80
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Theresa Rose Morin, 80, of 524 State St. died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Williamstown Commons, surrounded by her family.Born in Adams on July 29, 1934, daughter of Arsene and Marguerette Belanger Lavigne, she attended Adams schools.
Mrs. Morin was a waitress at the former Jaeger House Restaurant in Pownal, Vt., and the 1896 House restaurants in Williamstown. She had earlier worked at the former Sprague Electric Co.
She was a devoted homemaker to her family and a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She leaves her husband, Michael N. Morin, whom she married on June 25, 1955; a daughter, Melissa Burnell and her husband, Charles, of the town of Florida, MA; two sons, Stephen Morin and his wife, Audrey, of Florida and Carl Morin of North Adams; a sister, Jean Aveyard of Adams; a brother, Leo Lavigne of Adams; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild and nieces and nephews.
Her siblings Albert Lavigne, Paul Lavigne, Raymond Lavigne and Amanda Coe predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE — At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours or services for Mrs. Morin. Burial will be at a later date.
