David A. Kanelos, 52

ADAMS, Mass. — David A. Kanelos, 52, of Victory Terrace died Friday, May 15, 2015, at his home.

Born in North Adams on July 13, 1962, a son of Dolores Oslizlo Kanelos and the late, Louis Kanelos, he attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.

Mr. Kanelos was a self-employed carpenter working in the Adams area.

He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.

Besides his mother, he leaves a son, Justin Kanelos of Pownal, Vt.; two sisters, Robin Kanelos and Cathy Ralys and her husband, Thomas, all of North Adams; a brother Nicholas Kanelos and his wife, Tracy, of Rome, Ga.; his loving companion, Wendy Risch of Adams; seven nieces and nephews, Nicollette, Danielle, Jared, Christina, Amanda, Griffen and Raven as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mr. Kanelos will be held Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.

Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9 until the time of the service. Memorial donation are suggested to the funeral home.

it was probably 1971 myself,my brother Bob, and our friend kurt Accetta were at lou's variety with dave and we were at freeman field dave had pt fliers (sneakers)and the rest of us had chuckie t's we had just started summer vaction from school and i can only guess it was 7 am so we had till supper time to be home (thats how it was) anyway we raced a thousand times that day and kurt whooped us all, hahaha, you will be remembered and missed dave R.I.P. and thank you for calling me in feb when my dad passed thank you, friend
