Ruth E. Trembley, 75
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Ruth Evelyn Trembley, 75, of 90 West Main St. died Thursday, July 1, 2015, at Williamstown Commons.Born in North Adams on Sept.28, 1939, daughter of William and Evelyn King Murphy, she graduated from Drury High School.
Mrs. Trembley was employed by Williams College in its Food Service Department for more than 20 years, until her retirement. She later worked part time at Williamstown Elementary School.
She enjoyed bingo and dinners with friends.
Her husband, Norman Trembley, died on April 13, 1992.
She leaves a son, John Trembley Sr. and his wife, Doris, of Adams; her brother, William Murphy of North Adams; three grandchildren, Christina Gregory of the town of Florida, John Trembley Jr. of North Adams and Kali Trembley of Chatham, N.Y.; two great-granddaughters, Emma Gregory and Skylar Styckiewicz, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her brother John Murphy is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Trembley will be Monday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association in care of the funeral home.
