Francis M. Charron, 49
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Francis Mark Charron, 49, of Walker Street died on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center.Born in North Adams on June 21, 1966, a son of Edward and Marilyn Armstrong Charron of North Adams, he graduated from Drury High School in 1985.
Mr. Charron was employed at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown as a porter since 2000. He had earlier worked at the former Waverly Mills in Adams and Krutiak Lumber.
He was an accomplished musician, playing the steel guitar, drums, and keyboard. He was a member of Stamford (Vt.) Community Church and the Clarksburg and Florida volunteer fire companies.
Besides his parents, he leaves his beloved wife, the former Cristi Cutting, whom he married on June 10, 1995, in the town of Florida; a son, Daniel S. Charron of North Adams; a daughter, Kayla Cutting of Williamstown; a sister, Melissa Heggie of Kentucky; six brothers, David Charron of Arizona, Michael Charron and Thomas Charron, both of Florida, Norman Charron and William Charron, both of North Adams, and Gary Charron of Adams; a grandson, Logan Williams of Williamstown, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Mr. Charron will be on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. from Stamford Community Church. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Donations may be made to Stamford Community Church.
