John N. Panasevich

John N. Panasevich, 52, of Maplewood Avenue, Marlboro, died Saturday at home, following a long illness.

His parents own homes in Stockbridge.

Born in Boston on May 20, 1953, son of Leo Panasevich, a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra for 46 years, and Carolyn Clarke Panasevich, he grew up in Needham and spent many summers in the Berkshires.

He graduated in 1971 from Needham High School, and in 1975, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.

Mr. Panasevich was administrator for a number of nursing homesthroughout Massachusetts, and he sold antiques.

He played french horn and piano, and in his younger days he played hockey. He enjoyed building model planes and reading about history and art.

He leaves his father, and his wife Eleanor, of Weston and Stockbridge; his mother, of Needham and Stockbridge; two sons, Mark Panasevich of Hudson and Alexander Panasevich of Marlboro; a sister, Karen Cummins of Still River; a brother, Nicholas Panasevich of Astoria, N.Y., and his fiancée, Anne St. Juste of Hyde Park, N.Y.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for John N. Panasevich, who died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, will be Saturday at 10 at Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Ave., Needham.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Emergency Department at Marlboro Hospital, 157 Union St., Marlboro, MA 01752. EATON FUNERAL HOME, Needham, is in charge of arrangements.

He also leaves a brother-in-law, Robert Cummins, and a cousin, Christine and her husband Gary Kleinerman of Lee.
