Alice O. Gerard

Alice O. Gerard, 85, formerly of 10 Pilgrim St., died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She had resided at Providence Care Center in Lenox for the past year.
Born in Great Barrington on April 12, 1918, daughter of Lucius and Erminia Sartori Iemolini, she was a graduate of Great Barrington schools.
Mrs. Gerard had been employed at Fairview Hospital and the Housatonic mills, both in Great Barrington, for many years and as a housekeeper for the Donald B. Miller family.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge.
She was a member of the Berkshire Beagle Club and enjoyed running her dogs.
She leaves a brother, Julius Iemolini of West Stockbridge.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial Mass for Alice O. Gerard, who died Jan. 16, 2004, will be celebrated Monday at 11 at St. Patrick's Church, West Stockbridge, by the Rev. Daniel Brunton.
There will be no calling hours. Burial of her cremains will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Great Barrington, on Friday at 2. Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
Four sisters predeceased her, Inez Iemolini, Flora Vida, Lena Malnati and Irene Malnati. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Berkshire Beagle Club or St. Patrick's Church in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
