WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Allan Harry Clark, 77, of 46 Benlise Drive died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at home. He was a former vice president of operations at Cascade School Supplies Co. Inc. in North Adams. Born in North Adams on Jan. 7, 1927, son of Kenneth and Isabel Crocker Clark, he was a 1943 graduate of Drury High School and a graduate of the Ohio Mechanics Institute in Cincinnati. A Navy veteran of World War II, he served with Naval Group China in Shanghai, Kinming and Chongguing as a radioman third class. Mr. Clark had been employed for 38 years by Cascade, retiring in 1992. Earlier, he had worked for six years at his family's business, the former Model Laundry Co. in North Adams. He was a member of First Congregational Church, Frank R. Stiles American Legion Post 125 and Taconic Golf Club, and a former member of the Northern Berkshire Amateur Radio Club. He and his wife, the former Nancy M. Neville, were married June 24, 1950. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Cynthia Clark Grosso of New Ashford and Kathi Clark Orsanic of Melbourne, Australia; three sisters, Joyce Clark and Anne Clark Killam, both of Williamstown, and Julie Filkins of North Adams, and four grandchildren, Kathryne Grosso Elias, Karen Grosso, Dana Orsanic and Lukas Orsanic. A sister, Marcia Green, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Mr. Clark will be conducted Wednesday, March 17, at 11 at First Congregational Church, North Adams, by the Rev. Jill D. Graham, pastor. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be tomorrow, March 16, from 4 to 7 at AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME. The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests memorial donations be made to First Congregational Church through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
