Williams Student Symphony to Perform “France through the Agesâ€
Music - , 8 p.m., William College, Thompson Memorial Chapel, Williamstown, This free event is open to the public., 413-597-3146 This evening of music will feature Scott Smedinghoff '09, organ in Poulenc’s Organ Concerto. Also on the program is more French music ranging from the pre-Baroque period to the twentieth century, including Faure's Masques et Bergamasques, and Ravel's Pavane pour une infante défunte. The orchestra will also present arrangements of early French dance pieces by Leo Brown '11. |
