    PITTSFIELD:  The City of Pittsfield Department of Community Development Recreation Program has announced the return of the Pittsfield Track and Field Games. The City of Pittsfield has teamed up with Berkshire Lightning, the Berkshire Running Center and the YMCA, for this FREE program which introduces and teaches youth the basics of track and field including warm ups and several running and field components. Pittsfield Track and Field Games will take place Saturday, July 25, 2015 for children ages 6 to 14 at the Taconic High School Track, 96 Valentine Road. Registration and warm ups will begin at 9:00 am with events beginning at 9:30 am.     NORTH ADAMS: The Christmas Brook Figure Skating Club is starting a new session for the learn to skate program at the Peter Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial rink in North Adams on Tuesday, July 14th from 5:30 – 6:20. This session will run for 7 weeks and includes 25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of free skate.  Boys and girls ages 3 and up can learn the basics of figure skating and become part of a great club! Rental skates are available for a nominal fee. For enrollment forms and cost, please visit our website, www.christmasbrookfsc.org or visit the rink on Tuesday at 5:30.
