Pearl A. Mullett, 80

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Pearl Annette Mullett, 80, of North Adams died peacefully Sunday, March 4, 2018.  



She was born in the Town of Florida on April 16, 1937, a daughter of the late Alfred and Nettie (Burdick) Mullett. Pearl graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1955. She then graduated from the University of South Florida, School of Nursing. She lived and worked as a nurse for several years in Sarasota, Fla., then returned to the Berkshires in 1991 and was last employed as a nurse at the Willowood Nursing Home retiring in 1998. 



Pearl was the past president of the North Adams Triad for many years and a former member of the North Adams Housing Authority Board. She enjoyed her many flowers gardens and helping seniors. 



Survivors include a daughter, Darlene McCartin and her husband Michael of Attleboro, Mass.; one grandson, Peter Janovsky, his wife Dee and two great-grandchildren, Will and Margaret Janovsky, all of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Nancy Bellows of North Adams; two brothers, William and Earl Mullett of Florida, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.



She was predeceased by one sister, Lena Hurlbut; and three brothers, Alfred, Daniel and Kenneth Mullett.



Funeral notice: Funeral services will take place Saturday, March 10, 2018, at noon at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will take in Church Cemetery, Florida, Mass., in the spring. 



Calling hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Adams Triad C/O North Adams Police Department.

I am so sorry to hear of Pearl's passing. As a child the Mullet family were all so kind to me. I remember Pearl for her sweet smile and gentle demeanor.
