Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

Even though we lived in Florida and Washington State for many years, that distance never prevented us from keeping in touch. We grew up like sisters, living next door. Her strengths and kindnesses were forever evident. In these later years our family has dwindled and with Pauline's passing a huge void has opened which will never be filled. She is now at rest. Her struggles have ended, but she will never be forgotten.

Aw, Pauline. You really made it up there. I was only 15 when I was washing dishes at the Whitcomb Summit, and you were a cook, with Dot Briggs. You were an important part of some of my best years, thank you.
