Robert A. Randall, 51

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Robert Allen Randall, 51, of North Adams died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Berkshire Medical Center North in North Adams.  

He was born in North Adams on July 30, 1965, a son of Allen R and Gloria J. (Seaton) Randall. He attended schools in Cheshire and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School. Mr. Randall was a rural route carrier for the Williamstown Post Office for over 15 years.

He loved the outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed boating, visiting family in Florida, and his beagles.

Survivors include his parents, Allen R. and Gloria J. Randall of Citrus Springs, Fla.; a brother, Keith Randall of Florida; a sister, Teresa Shafer of Florida; his paternal grandmother, Sarah Lowry of North Adams; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral notice: Calling hours will take place Monday, January 16, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial donations to the Berkshire Humane Society can be made through the funeral home.

I am so sad to hear this... Bob was such a kind man.! Loved seeing him in Williamstown, In 2009 a. bunch of our friends stayed on Lake Champlain and Bob was our boat man, So nice to reconnect after high school. Rest In Peace Bob. You will be missed!

I am so saddened to hear of Bob's passing, and will miss him every day when his mail truck comes up the hill. He has been my mailman for many years, and I became quite fond of him. He was always smiling, and was so cheerfully courteous. The perfect rural mailman. Heartfelt condolences go out to Bob's family and friends. He will be missed.
