I worked for Tom many years ago (late '80's) when he was an attorney at the FDR offices in North Adams. Reading through the other memories shared about him always having a big smile, going the extra distance for someone or just taking a minute to talk with someone about a legal matter is exactly how I remember him. Great guy to have worked for and he was a good attorney. May he rest in peace and thoughts and prayers to all the family.

Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Many folk in Readsboro hired Tom's services over the years including myself many times.
Tom always had a wide smile on his face when he entered the local town office with candy bars in hand for clerical staff. He would always give a little extra free advice for those in perplexing situations. He always seem to go the extra mile both professional and personally. Many today would benefit from his style of communication.

Tom was a very sweet man, and a talented and quirky artist. Over the past 20 years, I had hundreds of interesting conversations with him at the local coffee shops. I never heard him say an unkind thing about anyone. My prayers go out to Tondra.
