Gloria S. Senecal, 90

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Gloria Sylvia (Delisle) Senecal, 90, of North Adams died Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Williamstown Commons.

She was born in North Adams on June 22, 1926, a daughter of Raoul and Sylvia (Foisy) Delisle. She attended the Holy Family School and completed the Bliss Business College.

Gloria was last employed at the Sears Store on Main Street in North Adams until her retirement. Before that, she worked at Sprague Electric Co.  

She was a communicant of Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church and was active in many church committees and worked at Bingo.  She was a member of the Clarksburg Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.

She was the widow of Robert J. Senecal, who died on April 27, 1992. They were married on September 7, 1947.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen A. Eastland of Adams and Jill D. Senecal of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, Thomas M. Eastland and his wife Melissa, Lisa M. Haas and her husband Heath, and Ann M. Eastland; six great-grandchildren, Kamlyn, Stephin, Carter, Cassidy, Gavin, and Ava; and nieces and nephews.

Three sisters are deceased, including Patricia Arigoni, Jane Solari and Marilyn DelGrasso.

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Gloria Senecal will be celebrated Friday, February 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Sts. Patrick and Raphael Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams.

A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St. North Adams.  Memorial donations may be made to Moments House or PopCares in care of the funeral home.
