Carla, Pam, Marta, Eric and families,

I was so saddened to hear of your mom's passing. So many memories of our youth...hours of play at your house, youth fellowship at your house, that amazing house. I remember being fascinated by your mother's sprite quickness of mannerisms, gestures, and speaking. Her stature. I can see a toss of her bangs, a direct look that could stop you in your tracks, and a smile that let you know it all was okay. She was one of the most intelligent teachers I ever had...and that she could impart knowledge to 7th and 8th graders was a true testament to her skill. And then her years in the Stamford Community Church...where she fortified the Spirit and Ministry of music touched so many. I know I always looked forward to hearing that special little choir whenever I visited in town. Again, her wide eyed smile always made me feel so welcomed and she always wanted to know what was going on in my life. A special lady indeed. May peace be with you all as you go through this grieving time.

Carla, Pam, Marta & Eric -
I can't begin to express my feelings on your loss. Your Mom was so important to me in Stamford Valley Elementary School and also an anchor (hosting) of the Youth Fellowship group that Dick Lamb and Bill Wilson stewarded so very well.
She also fueled my love for music allowing me 10 minutes at end of music class to transcribe lyrics and lead the group in singing popular songs of the day.
In her last 20 years, I enjoyed seeing her in town yet, try as I may, I failed to convince her to teach piano to my daughters ten years ago or so ! She said that she was not a piano teacher but I knew that she would have been nothing less than fabulous with them.
All those thoughts and memories and joys for all those years ago are just flooding my heart.
