Eva M. Murach, 91

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Eva Marie (Daignault) Murach, 91, of Adams, died on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the home of her son in Adams surrounded by her family after a brief illness. 

She was born in North Adams on October 30, 1925, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Parker) Daignault. She attended schools in North Adams. 

Mrs. Murach worked for the former Sprague Electric Co., North Adams, until retiring in 1983 after 44 years. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams. 

Her husband, Joseph A. Murach, whom she married on November 30, 1950, died on June 11, 1971. 

She is survived by two sons, Robert Murach and his wife Kathy Skillings Murach of Adams and Jeffrey Murach and his wife Kathleen of Pittsfield; one daughter, Lynn Leary of North Adams; two grandsons, Ryan Murach and his wife Cherie and Corey Murach and his wife Casey, all of Dalton; one great-grandson, Lucas of Dalton; two sisters, Marion Maynard and her husband Richard of Cheshire and Annette Taro of North Adams; a sister-in-law, Hazel Daignault of Adams; a brother-in-law, Frank Lazarczyk of Cheshire; two step-granddaughters; five step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by two brothers, William Daignault Sr. and Francis Daignault; and by two sisters, Alice Thomas and Rita Lazarczyk. 

Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 9 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, McKinley Square, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor.
