Kenneth D. Davis, 71

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kenneth Darcy Davis, 71, of North Adams, Mass., died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.

 He was born in San Diego, Calif., on September 26, 1945, son of Kenneth Lee and Ruth Amber (Stuart) Davis.  He came to North Adams as a child and attended local schools.

Kenneth was a veteran of the US Air Force and later served in the Air National Guard. He was last employed by the General Electric Co. for 31 years until his retirement.

Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Linda R. (Chilson) Davis, whom he married on November 17, 1967; one daughter, Susan Jane Davis Mills and her fiancé, Bruce Bastien, of North Adams; two sons, including James William Davis and his wife, Kara, of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Kenneth Paul Davis of North Adams; eight grandchildren, Darcy, Lori, Cody, Ashley, Zachary, Taylor, Carol and Bryan; five great-grandchildren, Destiny, Joey, Matthew, Evangeline and Evan; one sister, Alice Kolodziej of Adams, Mass.; and nieces and nephews.  
Two brothers and one sister are deceased, including Amber, Walt and Clarence.

Funeral notice: The funeral for Kenneth Davis will be Monday, June 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St. North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations May be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
