Christopher M. Burnham, 45
CHESHIRE, Mass. — Christopher M. Burnham, 45, passed into the arms of mother earth and father sky in his home in Cheshire, Mass., as a result of a severe asthmatic attack in the early afternoon on Friday, June 23, 2017.
He is survived by his mother Cheri (Johnson) Burnham; his father Donald L. Burnham and his wife Kelly. He leaves behind two daughters, Ciera and Esme Burnham; son Alex Burnham and his partner Reina Oduro; one brother, Timothy Burnham and his wife Erin; two sisters, Kelly (Scanlan) Burnham and Tracy (Burnham) Reimann and her spouse Rick and son Jack and a great-grandchild, Vincent Seoane Burnham.
Chris was a Sales and Lease Consultant with Johnson Ford Lincoln in Pittsfield, Mass., where he had worked for 10 years and where he had many loyal customers.
Chris was motivated by the history and lives of Native Americans and lived his life in harmony with their ways and teachings. He was passionate about the outdoors, its abundance of life and ability to heal all ailments. He loved, more than anything, the peace and serenity of the trails and mountain tops he frequented. Chris had a compassionate heart, willing and ready to help anyone less fortunate than he. He enjoyed teaching and practicing the art of boxing and shared his love of the sport whenever he was given the opportunity. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams, Mass. Calling hours are Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Memorial donations are suggested any local conservatories.
