Betty Lou Lucchese, 87
LEE, Mass. — Betty Lou Lucchese, 87, of Lee died Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Fairview Commons surrounded by her family.
Betty Lou was born on February 26, 1930, in Bradenton, Fla., the daughter of George and Gladys Rogers Franklin. After attending local schools she would meet and marry her husband Pasquale L. Lucchese prior to relocating to the area.
Betty Lou enjoyed the performing arts in the area, especially the MacHayden Theatre. In later years, she enjoyed participating in the Adult Day Health program in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Lucchese is survived by her three children, Elizabeth Tierney and her husband Bill of Lee, Nicholas Lucchese and his wife Louise of Lee, and Linda Kuepper and her husband Frank of Richboro, Penn.; five grandchildren, Dawn Simmons, Billy Tierney, Brandon Lucchese, Frank and Michael Kuepper; and two great-grandchildren, Camden and Jordyn Simons.
Betty Lou was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale L. Lucchese; her sister Macile Buchanan; and her two brothers, Theodore and George Franklin.
Funeral notice: A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee with the Rev. Brian McGrath, officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in her memory to the Autism Cares Foundation in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
