Arlene Gregalis, 82
ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Arlene "Dede" (Scarbo) Gregalis, 82, of Adams died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her home.
She was born in North Adams on November 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Frank and Cecilia (Siciliano) Scarbo. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School.
She last worked for the former South Adams Savings Bank on Park St. in Adams for many years until retiring. Earlier she had worked for the former Sprague Electric Co., North Adams.
She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She was a former member of the Adams Senior Citizens.
Her husband, John J. Gregalis, whom she married on August 10, 1957, died on October 9, 2014. They are celebrating 60 years of marriage together in Heaven.
She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Fisher and Julie Gregalis, both of Adams; four grandchildren, Amy Fisher and her fiancé Matthew Paget, Nicholas Fisher, and Tyler and Chelsea Lefebvre; and by her five sisters, Lorraine Smith, Cecilia "Cheche" Kozik, Marie "Mimi" Harpin, Judy King and her husband Bill, and Nancy Gagne.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at 9 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.
