Brandy-Lee M. Hebert, 37

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Brandy-Lee Marie Hebert, 37, of North Adams, died on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Duplisea of North Adams; her father, Todd M. Hebert and his wife, Nancy, of North Adams; a stepfather, Keith Duplisea; a son, Jerod-Lee Joseph Hebert of North Adams; a brother, Heath Halsey Hebert and his fiancee, Lorraine Huitt, of North Adams; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that all loved her dearly.

Brandy lived across the street from me for a short time several years ago. She was a sweet, kind and caring person and was always smiling. God bless her little boy, he will never know how sweet and special his mama was prior to her illness. My condolences to her family.

I am very sad to hear of Brandy's untimely passing, and my condolences go to all whose lives she touched. My sister, Kiersten, spend a lot of time with her and I have seen Brandy in good times and in bad. Despite how hard she was struggling, she was always kind and caring. Her smile was infectious. This is a challenging time for many, and for the whole family. Thank you for your willingness to share Brandy's story. I hope others are helped by it.

Todd, Cindy and all the family. My heart goes out to you. Losing a child is hard enough, but losing one so young and to such terrible circumstances is just an added burden. It should never have happened! Those damn drugs! This has touched my family also and I just ache for all those addicted. They try so hard to stay clean, but the evil is always out there, calling, tempting. I remember Brandy growing up-such a beautiful, happy, fun child.I saw her with Kiersten just a few months ago and then thought how beautiful she still was. And I know she had a very kind heart. Such a tragedy, such a loss. I am SO VERY SORRY. God Bless you all.

I want to thank the family for including the information about the drug addiction. Many people hide it and I truly believe it is so brave to put it out there. Addiction is a real thing and maybe the more we confront it, the more families will talk about it, and maybe just maybe a life can be saved.
I am sorry for your loss, we will say a prayer for your family tonight when we put our son to bed.
Thanks for your bravery
