Sylvia and I shared part of our early years in North Adams. We went to Catechism with the Venerini Sisters and made our First Communion and Confirmation together at the old St. Anthony's Church. We ran into each other now and then and reconnected at our 60th high school reunion just last weekend. I'm so glad that we joyfully embraced - I'm sorry that it was good-bye.
