Charles F. Goodell, 37
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Charles Francis Goodell, 37, of Isbell Street, North Adams, Mass., died on Saturday, November 4, 2017, in Williston, S.C., as a result of a tractor-trailer accident.
He was born in North Adams, Mass., on June 16, 1980, a son of Beverly (Raymond) Goodell and the late Richard George Goodell. He attended schools in North Adams, graduating from Drury High School. He received his trucking license from New England Tractor Trailer School. He was employed with Dolic Trucking, Inc. at the time of his death. He was a former member of the National Guard.
Survivors include his mother, Beverly Goodell of North Adams; and his fiancé, Christine Johnson, and their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by great aunts Laura Odell and Margaret Odell of Williamstown; his aunts Linda Goodell of Pittsfield, Nancy Pontier of Clarksburg, Bonnie Gomez and her husband Mike of Newton, N.H., Shari Foucher of Adams, Darlene Howe and her husband Ted of Adams, and George Foucher and his wife Tammy of Deltona, Fla.; and many beloved cousins, including Aaron and his wife Ashley Goodell of North Adams and Robert and his wife Sheri Goodell of Clarksburg. He also leaves a special friend, Roy Hoyt.
Driving truck was his passion and his dream job, He always said, "Love what you do, and you’ll never work a day in your life!" He also loved video games and spending time with his fiancé and all his family.
