Jessie J. Rusek, 92
ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Jessie Janina (Kiczak) Rusek, 92, of Adams died on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the North Adams Commons.
She was born in Praga, Poland, on November 30, 1924. She was a survivor of the Holocaust, having been in a concentration camp in Siberia for three years. She moved to the United States following her marriage.
Mrs. Rusek was primarily a homemaker but had worked for St. Stanislaus Kostka School.
Her husband, Louis J. Rusek is deceased.
She is survived by a son, George Rusek and his wife Susan of Adams; and a daughter, Christine Weslowski of the state of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Leonard Rusek
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka School, 108 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220.
