Frances Dudziak, 76

ADAMS, Mass. — Frances Dudziak, 76, of Adams passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Williamstown Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the widow of Thaddeus J. Dudziak. They shared 52 years together.

Born in Adams on August 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Millette McBride. She was employed for several years for the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams, after which she became a homemaker.

She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams. She enjoyed bowling and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She will be remembered for being a devoted grandmother, known as "Babci" by her own grandchildren, as well as many of their friends.

She is survived by a son, Guy Dudziak and his wife Theresa of Adams; two daughters, Gladys Dudziak and her longtime companion, Gray Longey of Adams, and Mary Ann Manning and her fiance Brian Carlow of Savoy; a brother, Robert McBride of Adams; a sister, Joanne Michalski of Adams; six grandchildren, Nathan, Travis, Taylor, Scott, Shaun and Mikey; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons, Kevin (Dudg) Dudziak and Thaddeus J. Dudziak Jr., who died as an infant.

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Frances will take place Friday, January 12, 2018, at noom in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams, celebrated by the Rev Steven G. Montesanti, pastor. Burial will be in the Spring in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Adams at a later date to be announced. Calling hours at the Trottier Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
