Edward C. Trumble, 78

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Edward C. Trumble, 78, of Adams died on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Adams on July 25, 1939, a son of the late Harold and Ella (Fulde) Trumble. He attended schools in Adams. Mr. Trumble was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force from September 15, 1958, until receiving his Honorable Discharge on September 14, 1962.

Mr. Trumble worked for the former General Electric Co., and Lockheed-Martin Co., both in Pittsfield for over 28 years until his retirement. He had also worked for David Krutiak Construction and most recently as a school bus driver for Dufour Bus Company.

He was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams. He was a member of the Adams Lodge of Elks 1335 and the Adams Post 160 American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Sandra J. Zatorski, whom he married on June 1, 1963;
two daughters, Lisa Trumble and "Son-in-Law" Tracy Baker of Westborough and Lynn Pettit and her husband Patrick of Cheshire; three brothers, George Trumble and his wife Faun of Summerton, S.C., Harold Trumble Jr., and his wife Jean of Steele, Ala., and Donald Trumble and his wife Judith of Adams; one sister, Arlene Cooper of North Adams; three grandchildren, Morgan, Joshua and Tyler Pettit; two step-grandchildren, Erin Shea and Adam Baker; three step-great-granddaughters; his beloved canine son Toby ;and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Victor and William Trumble.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Cancer Center at Berkshire Medical Center and Hospice of Central and Western Mass for the care they have given to him.

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, McKinley Square, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will be at a later date in the spring.

Calling hours at the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, are Friday, January 19, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests memorial donations be made to the Cancer Center at BMC, 725 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
