Arlene I. Dickinson, 82
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Arlene Ione (Tatro) Dickinson, 82, of North Adams, Mass., died Thursday, January 18, 2018, at her home.
She was born in North Adams, Mass., on April 11, 1935, daughter of William and Florence (Whalen) Tatro. She attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School and also completed the cosmetology course at McCann Technical High School.
Arlene was primarily a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, singing, bowling and playing golf.
Survivors include her husband, David Dickinson, whom she married on August 7, 1954; three daughters, Laurie J. Boyer of Hancock, Mass., Marcia Lynn Alexander of Lyles, Tenn., and Donna Lee Tatro of North Adams; one son, David M. Dickinson of North Adams; four grandchildren, Chad, Kristin, Erin and Emily; three great-grandchildren, Natalie, Madeline and Chloe; one sister, Regina Beer of Williamstown; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral notice: A graveside service for Arlene Dickinson will be held Monday, January 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
