Beverly A. Royal, 78

ADAMS, Mass. — Beverly Ann (Hart) Royal, 78, of North Adams, Mass., died on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in Adams, Mass., on August 27, 1939, a daughter of the late Walter and Doris (Johnson) Hart.

Beverly attended schools in Adams, graduating from Adams Memorial High School. She was employed as a customer service representative for Excelsior Printing for many years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

She was the widow of John Allan Royal, whom she married on July 12, 1958. He died on November 17, 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Allan Royal of Cheshire and Allan Francis Royal of North Adams; three grandchildren, Hannah Callahan of Cheshire, Sarah Royal of North Adams and Gregory Royal of North Adams; and two brothers, James Hart of New Hampshire and Walter Hart of Florida. 

She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Trudeau.

Funeral notice: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Beverly Royal will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247. 

Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
