Robert J. Burridge, 50
ADAMS, Mass. — Robert John Burridge, 50, of Schwetzingin, Germany died, February 6, 2018 in Germany.
He was born in Hollywood, Fla., on November 11, 1967, son of Patricia A. (Williams) Folino and Robert A. Burridge. He attended schools in Adams, including Hoosac Valley Regional High School.
Robert served in the US Army from 1987 to 1994 and participated in the Kuwaiti Liberation. Following his military service, he moved to Germany, where he worked for SAP for over 20 years in computer hardware and software support. He was a life member of the North Adams VFW.
Robert enjoyed music and computer games.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Patricia A. Folino and her husband, Lawrence, of Cheshire; his father and stepmother, Robert A. Burridge and his wife, Connie, of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Cassandra Sophia Burridge; one son, Joseph Franklin Leonhard Burridge, one stepson, Steven Ray Leonhard, and one step-grandson, Sandro, all of Germany; his grandfather, Anthony E. Folino of Williamstown; four sisters, Mendi Kinsey and her husband, Jeffrey, of Florida, Bonnie L. Whitney of Adams, Vicki J. Monday of Connecticut, and Heather Burridge of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Bryan Folino of Cheshire and Adam Burridge of Pennsylvania; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in Berkshire County and the states of Florida and Pennsylvania; and his special friends in Germany, Philip and Claudia Boone and family and Chris and Petra Hoskins and family.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Franklin and Mary Williams and William and Emma Burridge; and his stepfather, Joseph Straczek.
Funeral notice: A memorial service for Robert John Burridge will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, Mass. Burial will be in the spring in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Memorial donations may be made to Project New Hope in care of the funeral home.
