Amy Bryant, 83
CHESHIRE, Mass. — Amy Bryant, 83, formerly of Cheshire passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Springside Rehabilitation and Skilled Center in Pittsfield.
Born in North Adams on August 11, 1934, daughter of the late Phillip and Ada Surr Boshoff, she attended North Adams schools. Amy was employed for the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for over 40 years, and where she retired. After her retirement she was employed part time for the Reynold's General Store in Cheshire.
Amy was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Adams.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Bryant Sr. and his wife Cynthia of Pittsfield; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Stanley, Frederick, and Albert Boshoff; and a sister, Marjory Bump.
Funeral notice: Services and burial in Southview Cemetery in North Adams will be in the spring at a later date to be announced. Donations in her memory can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Trottier Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220, who is in charge of arrangements.
