Albina B. Nazzewski, 96

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Albina B. (Kruzel) Nazzewski, 96, of Adams died Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in Adams on March 27, 1922, a daughter of the late Matthew and Helen (Meczywor) Kruzel, and attended Adams schools. Bina last worked as a painter in the engraving room at the former Arnold Print Works in Adams until retiring.

She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, and had enjoyed traveling and playing Bingo.

Her husband, Mathew Nazzewski, whom she married on December 12, 1968, died on November 15, 2001.

She is survived by two stepsons, Frederick Nazzewski and his wife, Linda, of Adams, and Edward Nazzewski and his wife Patricia of Chesapeake, Va.; a step-grandson, Thomas Nazzewski of Cheshire; two step-granddaughters, Terri Flood of Pittsfield, and Vicki Hayes of Rhode Island; three step-great-grandsons; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her two brothers, Frank and Matthew Kruzel; and by her three sisters, Mildred Matuszak, Monica Cyrulik and Blanche Nazzewski.

Bina’s family would like to thank the staff at Williamstown Commons, and Dr. Bishow Aryal and the nurses and staff at Berkshire Medical Center for the care and kindness they provided her during her illness.

Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Stanislaus Kostka Church, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.
