Laura Eva Drummond, 95

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Laura Eva Drummond, 95, of Pittsfield passed away June 28, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in Pittsfield on August 8, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Mary Tassinari Forni. Laura was a 1941 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She was married to late David Drummond, who died in January 1963.

Primarily a homemaker, she also worked at one time at General Electric. She was a past member of St. Stephens Church.

Mrs. Drummond leaves her daughters, Cheryl Albano and her husband David Sr. of Pittsfield, and Debra Arasimowicz and her husband Edward of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Edward Arasimowicz, David Albano Jr., Daniel Albano and Kimberly Arasimowicz; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral notice: Services for Laura Eva Drummond, will be held Friday, July 6, 2018, at noon at Dery Funeral Home, followed by burial in Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
