Sally A. Lesure, 80
STAMFORD, Vt. — Sally Ann (Spencer) Lesure, 80, of Stamford, Vt., died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in North Adams, Mass., on January 10, 1938, daughter of Milton O. and Elizabeth Janet (Steele) Spencer. She graduated from Drury High School and also attended Providence-Barrington Bible College. Sally worked at the Modern Dairy and as a home health aide. She was primarily a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a member of the Stamford Community Church and a former member of the Rainbow Girls. Sally enjoyed camping and fishing.
Her husband was Paul Rexford Lesure, who died on November 2, 2017. They were married on July 7, 1956.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally Jones and her husband Tom of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Deborah Alix and her husband, Brian, of Pittstown, N.Y.; three sons, David Lesure and his wife, Sandra ,of Cheshire, Mass., Glenn Lesure and his wife, Theresa, of Vernon, Vt., and Walter Lesure of South Newfane, Vt.; 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Dorothy Spencer of North Adams; one brother, Milton Spencer of North Adams; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral notice: The funeral for Sally Lesure will be Monday, July 16, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Stamford Community Church. Burial will follow in Millard Cemetery.
