Marion M. Consaul, 73

SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Marion Myrtle Robbins Consaul, 73, of Sheffield, Mass., passed away peacefully on August 17, 2018, with her children Tina and Domenic at her bedside.

Marion was born on January 19, 1945, to Horace and Barbara Porter Robbins in Northhampton, Mass. She was a graduate of Mt. Everett High School and later Berkshire Community College and then the University of Massachusetts. Marion will always be remembered for her kind heart by all the people she cared for as an L.P.N. and private caregiver.

Marion enjoyed several years of operating Consaul Tours with her late husband Robert. She loved meeting new people on her numerous trips to casinos, beaches and ball games. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society and the Sheffield Senior Center, where she assisted in the SBCCP Toddler Program and weekly congregant meals.

Marion’s greatest passion was her love for her family and that passion gave her strength to fight an amazing decade long battle against cancer.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Tina Lancto of Darlington, S.C.; her son, Domenic Negri and his wife Linda of Cheshire, Mass.; her four siblings Horace (Jim) Robbins and his wife Panela of Thurston, Md., Wayne Robbins and his wife Jean of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Vivian Stalker and her husband Harold of Ashley Falls, Mass., and John Daniels and his wife Darlene of Milford, N.H.; her stepchildren Deborah, Lisa, Kevin, B. Ronald, Bruce and Scott and their families; as well as her 25 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Marion was predeceased by her husband, Robert Consaul, who passed away in 2004; as well her stepdaughter Donna, her stepson Robert Jr., step-grandson Brandon and an infant daughter Nicole Negri.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Western & Central Mass for their wonderful care and support.

Funeral notice: Funeral arrangements for the late Marion Negri will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, Mass. There will be no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Western & Central Mass through Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230.
